Maureen Lewis has spent over 25 years advising government and private sector leaders around the world on health system reforms. Dr. Lewis has held a variety of management and leadership positions in global health, including Chief Economist for Human Development at the World Bank. She is the author of more than 75 research publications and working papers and five books, and is a member of numerous international organizations including the Council on Foreign Relations  Dr. Lewis speaks frequently for private, public and nonprofit audiences across the globe. She has a PhD in Economics from Johns Hopkins University.

Jerry La Forgia is a leader in global health and hospitals.  He was formerly Lead Health Specialist for China at the World Bank, leading the dialogue and analytic work for Vice-Premier Liu Yandong in the country’s healthcare reform agenda, as well as the World Bank’s Lead Health Specialist in India and Brazil. His major areas of research include hospital governance and management, quality of care, health insurance, and public-private partnerships for health service delivery. He has worked in these areas across Latin America, South Asia and East Asia. He has an Sc.D. in Health Service Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.

Jonty Roland is an independent adviser on health system reform and universal health coverage to governments, global institutions and private sector organizations. He has worked in more than 25 countries in areas including health system design, health financing and frugal innovation. As Associate Director for Aceso Global, Jonty co-leads the ongoing Joint Learning Network for Universal Health Coverage learning collaborative on population targeting, as well as supporting the Aceso team across a variety of other projects. Prior to becoming independent, Jonty was Program Director of the KPMG Center for Universal Health Coverage, where he founded and led a team that secured consulting projects in 18 countries relating to the design and implementation of UHC. Jonty holds an MA in Management from the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, and an MSc in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

Luke Stuttgen previously served as a Staff Economist on the White House Council of Economic Advisers specializing in health and international economics. From this position, he researched the insurance and private healthcare delivery markets, complementing his prior experience as a healthcare consultant at large academic medical centers and hospital systems in the United States. Luke has also written health policy briefs for UNESCO and worked on health and economic development programs in Latin America and East Africa. He holds an MA in International Economic Policymaking with a concentration in Latin American Studies from the Paris Institute of Political Studies and an MSc in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Anne Coyne is a Program Manager at Aceso Global focusing on health economics and health system structures in LMICs. She currently supports a wide range of projects, including strengthening financing schemes in Malaysia and a meta-analysis of the COVID-19 impact on health systems in emerging markets. She also assists with graphic design with the Aceso communications team. Prior to joining Aceso Global, Anne worked at a refugee resettlement agency operating within the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia areas. Anne received her BSFS in Science, Technology, and International Affairs with a concentration in Business, Growth, and Development at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. She also has a minor in Psychology and a certificate in International Development.
