Robert Taylor is a global leader in assessing, developing and implementing hospital PPPs. From 2000 through 2012, he developed and managed the global transaction advisory practice for health PPPs in the International Finance Corporation (IFC) part of the World Bank Group. During his tenure, the Department completed more than 20 successful health PPPs across many regions. As an independent consultant since late 2012, he has advised the EBRD, IFC, AfDB and the Government of Colombia on hospital and health PPPs. His additional areas of expertise include hospital management and performance, provider payment systems and health insurance systems. Prior to his 27-year career at the World Bank Group, he worked in the Canadian Ministry of Finance and as a consultant at KPMG. He holds an MBA. from the University of Western Ontario and an MA and MPA from Queen’s University.
