In partnership with the Government of Saint Lucia, Aceso Global conducted a rapid assessment of options for the management, governance and operation of the OKEU Hospital. The goal was to recommend a public-private partnership (PPP) model that would ensure that the hospital is fiscally affordable, efficiently managed and able to provide quality care in the long-term. Drawing on site visits and interviews with key stakeholders, as well as the global literature on hospital PPP experiences, Aceso Global advised the Prime Minister on the benefits and drawbacks of different PPP options, and ultimately suggested the most viable model and accompanying risk mitigation strategies.
